Beaufort County School District is developing guiding principles for building new schools and improving existing facilities. These principles will help district leaders make consistent decisions about how learning spaces are designed, renovated, and maintained. They will explain what matters most in our school facilities and why those priorities are important for students, teachers, families, and the community. The design principles will serve as the foundation for a future district-wide design standard ensuring all schools support safe, engaging, and effective learning environments.
We invite parents, staff, students, and community members to share their perspectives by completing a survey. Your feedback will help shape these guiding principles and ensure our school facilities reflect the needs and priorities of the communities they serve.
