The Beaufort County School District (BCSD) Board of Education (BOE) believes that a K–12 community survey helps gather perspectives from parents, students, staff, and residents to guide strategic planning for the next decade. This will help the Board identify priorities in technology integration, workforce readiness, and instructional innovation.
The BCSD BOE also believes that over the next 5–10 years, education will need to focus on equipping students with future-ready skills—including digital literacy, problem-solving, creativity, and AI fluency. As technology continues to shape the workforce, schools must evolve to provide personalized learning, strengthen teacher support for new tools, and build strong partnerships between schools, families, and communities to ensure all learners thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
